Love &Ego

“Nne someone is calling you”said a voice behind me. When I turned, she said “that guy that is inside that restaurant over there” he said “you should come” I looked away and she held my hand to pled with me “please come and answer him nah” I looked at her with pity so I decided to follow her to meet the guy. When I got to the shop, she pointed at the guy and then I walked up to him to meet him. I greeted ! and he replied. The next thing he said was “Can I have your number ? He asked nonchalantly  i looked at the young fellow and his ego. And I said “No” then he said “okay no problem ! You can go” While leaving the shop I blamed myself for going there and allowing him to insult me in that manner.

However, I think I made mistake by working down to that shop and this I did because I pitied the young lady that came to call me ; I later realized that the young lady was working in the restaurant and she was working hard so that she can get a tip from the guy.

Am I wrong if I say that, that guy does not like me enough to woo me because I think that a guy that loves a girl will go out of his way to win her heart

Should I say it’s ego ? Or should I say I did not worth the stress ?

Ambitions

Almost everyone dreams of something while growing up. We all have ambitions when we are little, which change as we grow up. Ambitions lead us to a definite aim in life. Furthermore, they help us focus on our goal no matter the cost. It drives us to do better in life and aim for the Stars . Ambitions differ from one person to another.    However, one common thing that we usually face is that over time, people switch their ambition to something else than that which they wished to be when they are little. We have many people in the medical field who wanted to be dancers. Similarly, some of the greatest politicians wanted to be artists. So we see how easily one gives up on their dreams to adapt to the society and to meet up to our reality By Josué ✍🏽

Everyday Corona stories

Patrice ! Ade is sick o ! He’s having cough. Are you serious! replied another voice. Ade ! don’t touch me ! I said don’t touch me pls ! The sound mixed with fear and anger could not let me concentrate on writing the essay I needed for my summer internship.      On the morning of that same day, the 20th of March 2020, we were mandated to attend  the orientation of Coronavirus organized by village du Benin Togo. And also one must wash his hands with the provided soap and water in the school compound  before you can be allowed in class. The orientation was held in the hall with not more than 100 students per barge. The first barge ended with the installation of fear and extra carefulness in us and we washed our hands according to what we were taught in the hall by the school nurse before we left the school environment.       I was still on the summer internship application when news was brought to us that school has shutdown till further notice...
