The Twists in the middle of these Corona stories

The good thing about it it that I have gone to market, so I don’t have to worry for sometime about what to eat because the new rule now is that one is not allowed to leave the cité for more than 30 minutes, if so you will be tested before you can come into the cité. That was the voice I was hearing in my dream only to wake up and realize it was not a dream. It was the voice of my roommate telling her parents about the current situation and that was the news we received in the afternoon from The director through Grace after two students from Cape-cost Ghana were taken to the hospital or one can call it a confinement house.
Some still believe that they won’t get it and on the other hand we were coming up with different propaganda against the nurse. What if she has it ? What if she mistakes flu or malaria for Coronavirus ? What if she’s the primary source for us getting it ? This situation has instilled more fear in everyone. The plan now is that no matter anything you are doing don’t stay out for 30 minutes. If you like think they are not seeing you, Nobody wants to be infected so there is no loyalty in this.
However, some people know how to get through anxiety quick, maybe that’s  the reason why we have been hearing Soft sounds at the corners of the hostel. It’s all good because that’s how we are getting through this challenging period.

Stay in your room don’t go visiting a friend for gist because I’m going to bring these gists on a digital level.

Stay where you are !

Everyday Corona stories

Patrice ! Ade is sick o ! He’s having cough. Are you serious! replied another voice. Ade ! don’t touch me ! I said don’t touch me pls ! The sound mixed with fear and anger could not let me concentrate on writing the essay I needed for my summer internship.      On the morning of that same day, the 20th of March 2020, we were mandated to attend  the orientation of Coronavirus organized by village du Benin Togo. And also one must wash his hands with the provided soap and water in the school compound  before you can be allowed in class. The orientation was held in the hall with not more than 100 students per barge. The first barge ended with the installation of fear and extra carefulness in us and we washed our hands according to what we were taught in the hall by the school nurse before we left the school environment.       I was still on the summer internship application when news was brought to us that school has shutdown till further notice...

PEDOPHILIES : A MAN BUTCHERED FOR ABUSING A 10 YEARS OLD GIRL ; Caught in the act

PEDOPHILIES : A MAN BUTCHERED FOR ABUSING A 10 YEARS OLD GIRL ; Caught in the act                                                  Whenever this little girl comes back from school, this man will call her to a lonely place close to her house to abuse her. This went on for a very long time without anyone finding out what this little girl has been going through. The man went on with this disgusting act with this little girl without thinking about the future damages he is doing to this little girl.                          On the day he decided to change there regular place to an uncompleted building, he was caught by the girl's father and other neighbours. Also rumor has it that the girl is not his only victim and so I ask; how many girls in this country are facing child abuse, how many of them ar...
EVERYDAY UNN EXPERIENCE                     Waking up with noise is now a culture in my hostel. It's either from the preachers or the students struggling for water or the prayers from the mosque ,  all these has become part of being a being a UNN student. scarcity of water, lack  of provision of light, lack of healthy classrooms and environment. Studying in University of Nigeria Nsuuka should be a privilege but I don't know if I'm allowed to say otherwise                                       On  30th August 2019, I woke up with a splitting headache and the sharp noise of students searching for where to fetch water. that was when I realised that I will soon join the queue because I had ...
